LEADERSHIP

Mary Gulbrandsen

Jennifer Jeffress - President

Jennifer Jeffress joined The Oscar Rennebohm Foundation as President in January 2023. Jenni has a long history in the philanthropic field, leading Madison Public Library Foundation for 12 years and Madison Children’s Museum supporting the opening of the new museum in 2010. She has also worked in Brooklyn, New York at cultural and educational institutions. Jenni has an BA in Art History from University of Illinois and an MA in Education from Tufts University.

Mary Gulbrandsen

Mary W. Gulbrandsen

Mary earned her BS in nursing from St. Olaf College in 1972 and went on to earn two MS degrees from UW- Madison (pediatric nursing ‘74 and administrative medicine ‘98). She is the Executive Director for the Fund for Wisconsin Scholars as well as the former Chief of Staff for Madison Metropolitan School District. Mary has been with the Oscar Rennebohm Foundation since 2007.

Curt Hastings

Curt Hastings

Curt was born in Madison, Wisconsin. He holds a BS in civil engineering, from Lehigh University in 1968. He is a retired Chairman of the Board for J.H. Findorff & Son Inc. and has been a part of the Oscar Rennebohm Foundation since 2000.

Gary Schaefer

Gary L. Schaefer

Gary holds a BBA in business administration from Eastern Illinois University, which he earned in 1973. He retired as President of Associated Bank in 2019 and now serves on boards of various non-profits. Gary has been a member of the Oscar Rennebohm Foundation since 2004.

Steve Skolaski

Steven F. Skolaski

Steven, a native Madisonian, received his BBA in accounting from UW-Madison in 1971. He is the retired owner of Master Graphics and was previously employed by Rennebohm Drug Stores. He has been a member of the Oscar Rennebohm Foundation since 1985.

Kim Sponem

Kim M. Sponem

Kim, a native of Madison, has been CEO/President of Summit Credit Union since 2002. She holds a BS from UW-Madison School of Human Ecology and an MBA from Edgewood College. Kim has a tremendous interest in financial literacy and joined the Oscar Rennebohm Foundation Board in 2019.

Gary Wolter

Gary J. Wolter

Gary J. Wolter is retired CEO of Madison Gas and Electric Company and MGE Energy Inc. A graduate of Loras College and the University of Iowa law school, he has been active in many community service and business organizations for 30 years.

Noble Wray

Noble Wray

Noble L. Wray has served the Madison community for 30 years including Chief of Police and several non-profit boards. He advocates for relationships based on trust and shared values. Noble, a graduate of UW-Milwaukee, was the 2011 Alumnus of the Year. He is a nationally recognized law enforcement consultant.
